RASM’s 2025 Philanthropic Impact: Giving with Heart, at Home and Abroad

Posted by Mariya Collins on

At RASM, we believe that giving isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. As a proudly women-led Canadian homeware and gifting brand rooted in Windsor, Ontario, community care and global responsibility have always been woven into the fabric of our mission.

This year has been especially meaningful. With your continued support, we've been able to give back in impactful ways—both close to home and across the world.

Here's a look at how RASM has contributed to building stronger, more compassionate communities through our philanthropic initiatives:

Feeding the Hungry in Gaza

Food & gas distribution in Gaza

With the heartbreaking humanitarian crisis continuing in Gaza, we partnered with the Windsor Islamic Association to help feed families facing unimaginable hardship. Your purchases helped us send vital aid overseas, providing meals and hope to those in desperate need. Every contribution was a reminder that compassion knows no borders.

Sponsoring an Orphan through Islamic Relief Canada

Mothers and their orphaned children in SE Asia

Every child deserves safety, support, and a chance to thrive. Through Islamic Relief Canada, we’re honored to sponsor an orphan, helping to provide essentials like food, education, healthcare, and emotional support. It's a small gesture with a lasting impact—and one we are committed to continuing.

Supporting a New Islamic School in Windsor

New Islamic School project in Amherstburg, Ontario

This year, RASM made its largest donation yet toward the purchase of a new Islamic school building right here in Windsor. This exciting initiative promises to nurture the next generation in an environment grounded in faith, learning, and community. We see it as an investment not just in our children's' education, but in the legacy of our community.

Continuing Our Support for Nisa Foundation

Nisa Foundation

Our commitment to supporting vulnerable women continues through our partnership with the Nisa Foundation. Following last year’s efforts to help cover the operational costs of two Nisa Homes branches, we’re continuing to stand behind their mission to provide shelter, support, and empowerment to women and children escaping abuse or homelessness.

Giving to Local Islamic Schools & Masajid

Dominion Mosque

We haven’t forgotten the importance of nurturing faith at the grassroots level. RASM remains dedicated to supporting local masajid and Islamic schools across Windsor and beyond—because strong communities start with strong institutions.  In fact, our largest donation this year went towards the purchase of a new Islamic school building in Windsor-Essex County.

Thank You for Making It Possible

Every purchase is a piece of something bigger.

Every purchase you make at RASM contributes to something greater. Whether you're gifting joy or styling your home, you're also feeding the hungry, empowering women, educating children, and building stronger communities.

From all of us at RASM—thank you for being part of our journey, and for helping us turn compassion into action.
